Radiant Diamonds

The radiant cut diamond was the first square cut (the princess was the second) possessing a complete brilliant-cut facet pattern employed on both the pavilion and crown, producing a lively and vibrant square diamond.
First made popular in the 1980’s, the radiant cut shape is a combination of a princess and a cushion cut, and as a result looks beautiful set with both square cornered or rounded diamonds. A bow-tie effect is common in the more rectangular, longer radiant cut diamonds, (however this effect is not as common as in pear, oval, and marquise cuts), ranging from severe to near invisible.
